After-Hours Stock Movers:
Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) gained 2.6% after first quarter EPS and revenue topped analyst expectations. Investors looked past softer-than-expected second quarter sales guidance from the online retail giant.
AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) fell 3% after the chipmaker issued guidance for second quarter revenue that was lackluster relative to high expectations.
Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) plunged 11% after a decline in comparable store sales led to a miss on the top and bottom line for its second quarter. North America and International comps both showed a surprise drop.
Pinterest (NYSE:PINS) climbed 18% after the social media company published EPS and revenue for the first quarter that topped views. It also issued better than expected revenue guidance.
Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ:SWKS) declined 5% after it issued a disappointing outlook for its third quarter, citing a decline in its mobile business.
Canopy Growth (NASDAQ:CGC) climbed 2%, adding to an intraday gain of 79%, following reports the DEA will move to reclassify cannabis as a less dangerous drug.
