Litecoin Falls 11% In Rout

Investing.com - Litecoin was trading at $194.100 by 03:22 (08:22 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Friday, down 10.72% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since November 26.

The move downwards pushed Litecoin's market cap down to $13.897B, or 0.54% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Litecoin's market cap was $25.609B.

Litecoin had traded in a range of $194.100 to $224.700 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Litecoin has seen a drop in value, as it lost 4.7%. The volume of Litecoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $2.115B or 1.47% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $194.1000 to $230.1000 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Litecoin is still down 53.79% from its all-time high of $420.00 set on December 12, 2017.

Bitcoin was last at $55,906.2 on the Investing.com Index, down 3.04% on the day.

Ethereum was trading at $4,174.45 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 2.60%.

Bitcoin's market cap was last at $1,061.009B or 42.12% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum's market cap totaled $498.919B or 19.81% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
