does anyone know if the split will affect the value of existing calls?
The split will cut the strike price in half, double the amount and cut the premium in half. If you have 1 $100 strike call with a premium of $10 befpre the split; after the split youll have 2 $50 strike calls with a premium of $5
make sense, so basically no change in value. Thanks man.
 thank you
Am i still eligible for split if Ibought in yesterday
Yes record date is end of the day today, so if you want the split make sure you buy by end of the day
ProShares UltraPro QQQ (TQQQ) has announced a 2 for 1 stock split. The Ex-distribution Date is January 13, 2022. The Payable Date is January 12, 2022. The Record Date is January 11, 2022.

yeah were at triple bottom for the second day lol
Triple bottom
yes but we need more strength
Loaded lots of calls , crossing fingers and hoping this turns out as i think it will
me too
Everyone buys every dip. It works until it does not. And then bad things will happen.
Hi guys ! tech sector is setting up to go long ride look like i will not surprize if Tqqq go close to $200
Qqq and tqqq are the same company or different
because i really dont know about any company,i just like looking wich the stock market or ETF green % than after that i buy
they're different because of leverage. tqqq is leveraged and qqq is the NASDAQ index.
TQQQ = Proshares, QQQ = Invesco
Will hit 200 before the split
that's laughable at this point
2:1 stock split Jan 11 2022 whoopeeee
Splittttttt!!!!
BTD
Glad i bought the dip friday
You know how "buying the dip works"? It works constantly, untll one day it doesn't and it just keeps on going down.
that is exactly buying the dip, if it crashes...look back it crashed nearly 80%...and where is it now. so as long as you buy the dip, 10, 20, 30% etc. you will go down, but it will go up, as the lovers ate swapped by the winners in the index. it might take time, but in the end it will go up. and yes capitalism is free market and money talks, and I think you mistake it by democracy...this ended long time ago in the US, as with money you can buy anything...as long as you are a company...
sorry.. autocorrection..lovers=loosers, ate=are..lol
I realized I got this confused. The NASDAQ would need to go down 33.3% to make this at 3 times to go to zero. So for example the NASDAQ at 1,500 would need to go down to 1,000.Sorry for getting confused.
Time to buy, back up next week
Yes, TQQQ is great for long term, but better to short at 180, come back at 90 or lower and double your money.when rates are going up everyday and every piece of information in being shrugged off, valuation have no base to reality, you know yiu are In a bubble!
The last one in the room don't forget to close the light, we'll come back later to open....
The market is in a bubble for quite sometime and omicron is the needle anticipated
My only regret with TQQQ is not having bought more over the years and just held it.
is it good time to buy back again
Indeed, I'm loading up on TQQQ, TNA, and JNUG now.  The wisdom of this remains to be seen.
TQQQ good for long term
Unless TECH100 drops by 33% from ATH at any time in this long term.
If you think like Nick Smith, consider the following quote by him: Nasdaq 100 Futures Jan 19, 2021 9:15PM ET Why would you buy toxic Nasdaq at 11500? Crazy risky
Earnings of tech companies in the last 3 years grew at a staggering annual rate of 38%. This is twice of even S&P 500. Of course their valuation is well justified, even a brargain!  ------- Oh wait !!! It looks like I am quoting an older article from early 2000. My mistake! This time iin 2019-2021 s different of course.
This is so ironic!  Todan's CNBC home page. Two headliners side by side. "Nvidia greatest quarter" and "Cisco reports disappointing revenue and forecast". The present bubble and the past one. CSCO market cap is still half of what it was in 1999.
Lol see that's why etf beats a single company, check FAANG prices vs 2000, bears like you will always lose everything because you don't understand anything.
Does Tqqq suitable for investment period (2-3months holding) while Nasdaq100 is down? Need guidance, thanks in advance!
It's volatile for sure, you need to be patient when it drops.  The basic idea of all investing applies: when you cannot sleep at night, reduce your exposure until you can.  I've held it for the last 6 years, and I've had my share of not wanting to look at my account from time to time.  But, hold fast is my motto.  Oh, and I don't have everything in it.  No more than 20% at any one time, and that is very aggressive
buy and hold forever. when rsi less than 30 buy buy buy. great income source
yeah, I'm quite certain that TQQQ remains a good buy and hold
