Yup if this goes back to $1 level then its a good buy. Still expensive for me. The max this stock can go back $5, resistant area.

It is not being delisted. Only removed from the TSX Top 100 listing
says on TSX.com that SCL is being deleted.

Why you sell. You could have hold on. Because once it reach at $1 i will buy into it for 20k investment. And the stock will back to $5 before i will sell.
You guys are all talking about SCL getting delisted. So what wrong about this? If this compnaie doenst what that much stock involvement, it has the chance to chose to get delisted. Maybe it is good for the stock, maybe bad.  Another thing is that SCL is listed on the Borse Frankfurt, would it get delisted there too? Or nah?  It is save to say that if a companie gets delisted it doesnt mean its a bad sigh and it could go bankrupt or something, prove me wrong.
S&P/TSX Composite index tracks some chosen stocks by certain criteria. There are stocks which don't satisfy those criteria and they get removed from the index. And there are stocks which didn't satisfy the criteria before, but improved and included in the index. For example, AUP, DPM, EQX and some others will be included in the index.
So it's not the end of world and not that much changes. 2 factors why it's bad to be removed from the index: 1) less visibility for investors, 2) there are ETFs and mutual funds which follow the index. They MUST have the stocks from the index. If the stock is removed from the index, they MUST sell it and buy new stocks which were included.
What you are talking about is called stock buyback. Delisting and buyback are different things.

I googled a million times and couldn't find any reliable source that says this stock will delist.
it's getting delisted. just go on TSX.com and search for SCL . as of last quarterly review TSX decided to delist this stock. omg I'm in the home for so much .
i bought Shawcor on the FRA, but it doesnt seem to be the same as this one, currently there shaw is 2,34 and here 3,4
its because is on us dallars this one is in Cad dollars

The official S&P indices website from the company which actually creates those indices is not a reliable source for you? Not sure what can be more reliable. Anyway, always do your own research.
