Pier 1 IMPORTS has more to worry about than a Branding adjustment but maybe just removing IMPORTS ( which has a negative connotation with all the buy USA hoopla) Pier 1 sounds justca right maybe even Pier One..?

This stock became a trader play game... but only one LT trend will emerge: south... unfortunately. The sectoral and international trade policy environment, as well as the potential end of a long growth cycle, and political instability, are too many reasons -for me- to avoid this stock, apart for trading play. And recent results are not encouraging, apart if you believe in the CEO narrative and expectations.

It is worst than anticipated or still many shorts... but at some point it will become ridiculously low... but again, it is the reign of "comportemental behaviour" instead of rational. So it can go deeper...

This reverse split (set to the maximum range - 20) just before earning is not a good news... probably put in place by anticipating bad results and try to be above a dollar to stay listed next month. At least, it is my theory.
