Many still look at PTMR as a refining company. I think this is because of its roots in being part of ExxonMobil. However, since the acquisition by Petron Corp of the Philippines, PTMR has been transformed into a petroleum marketing and distribution company. That is why I think that at its current price it is a bargain and not a value trap. There are several fundamental analysis online that you can look at to verify my position.
