Packages Limited, an investment holding company, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells packaging materials and tissue products. It operates through Packaging, Consumer Products, Ink, Real Estate, Paper and Paper Board, Plastic, Pharmaceutical Products, and Corn Starch Products segments. The Packaging segment manufactures and markets packing products. The Consumer Products segment offers consumer and tissue products. The Ink segment provides industrial and commercial ink products; and finished and semi-finished inks. The Real Estate segment constructs and develops real estate properties. The Paper and Paper Board segment manufactures and markets paper, paperboard products, and corrugated boxes. The Plastic segment manufactures and markets biaxially oriented polypropylene films and cast polypropylene films. The Pharmaceutical Products segment is involved in the manufacturing, sale, and trading of pharmaceutical and related products. The Corn Starch Products segment manufactures and sells corn-based starch products and related derivatives, as well as by-products and trades in corn products. The company offers ground calcium carbonate, and life and general insurance services; and develops and manages hydropower projects. It operates in Afghanistan, Macedonia, Albania, Croatia, Bahrain, Canada, Indonesia, Kenya, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Guatemala, Spain, Greece, Sri Lanka, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Turkey, and Tanzania. Packages Limited was incorporated in 1956 and is headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan.
