Further, it offers OV5670, a PureCel image sensor designed for front and rear-facing camera applications in smartphones and tablets; OV10640, an automotive image sensor; OV490, a companion chip that enables high-quality image and video processing; OV2740, a PureCel image sensor designed for front-facing cameras in smartphones, tablets, and notebooks; OV7676, a VGA image sensor; OV13860, OV16850, OV23850, OV21840, and OV16880, which are PureCel-S image sensors; OV10642 and WVGA OV10625 that are sensors designed primarily for automotive applications; and OV9750, an image sensor for the security market. The company sells its products directly to original equipment manufacturers and value added resellers; and indirectly through distributors. It serves mobile phone, entertainment, notebook and Webcam, digital still camera, security and surveillance, and automotive and medical markets. It has strategic collaboration with High Speed Interconnects, LLC; and partnership with Nextchip Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
