Emergent Metals has discovered a new copper porphyry at its New York Canyon property in Nevada. Kennecott Exploration is carrying out exploration activities on the property and has the option to earn up to 75% interest by investing 22.5 million dollars. A recent UAV survey and rock chip sampling showed promising results with 20 out of 41 samples having grades greater than 1% copper and 39.74 g/t silver on average. The discovery is considered a potential "company maker" as it has the potential to be a large copper porphyry system. The next drilling is planned for the first quarter of 2023.
Lots of great developments happening at their properties with the copper extension and visible gold. Excited to see further results as the company continues to accelerate exploration for this year.
Emergent Metals hits visible gold in the initial drilling program at Tree Trick property in Quebec's Abitibi region. Previous exploration yielded positive results with gold grades up to 33 g/t. CEO David Watkinson excited for future results. I’ll be sure to watch closely.
Visible gold in Quebec and the copper target extension from their JV with Rio show that there's still a lot of exploration potential to be seen considering the current valuation.
The JV with Rio and the new drilling program at Trecesson alone make this an interesting company at this valuation, let alone considering all of the other properties under EMRs belt. Looking forward to seeing what management can bring to the table this year.
I’m just learning about Emergent Metals Corp, a mining development company that acquires low-priced assets, adds value to them and sells them for a profit. This strategy allows them to capitalize on opportunities in uncertain markets. They focus on gold, silver, and base metals and have a strong management team, active deals and a portfolio of assets at various stages of development, including Golden Arrow, New York Canyon, and Casa South. With only a $9M market cap and an acquisition pipeline in the best mining jurisdictions of Nevada and Quebec, I believe they present an inviting investment opportunity
