Eastern Bank PLC. provides various banking products and services to retail, corporate, and small and medium enterprise (SME) customers. The company offers retail banking products, including various types of loans, such as personal, mortgage, auto, two-wheeler, secured, and educational finance; deposits, which includes current, RFCD, savings, DPS, fixed, and expat accounts; digital banking products; and other products. It also provides banking products to SMEs, which includes cash credit, e-loans, fleet financing, and business solutions; and deposits, including current and foreign currency accounts. In addition, it offers cash management and working capital financing; bridge, long term, offshore, supply chain, and structured financing services. Further, the company provides money market products, which includes call and term money, re-purchase agreement, reverse repo, commercial paper, foreign exchange swap, and foreign currency placements; fixed investment products; foreign exchange products; derivative products; corporate restructuring; equity investment; capital market; and merger and acquisition services. Additionally, the company is involved in trade finance and offshore banking services; merchant banking activities, such as issue management, underwriting, portfolio management, corporate advisory, and trust services; and buying, selling, and dealing of shares, debentures, and other securities. It operates through a network of multiple branches, sub-branches, agent banking outlets, and automated teller machines in Bangladesh. Eastern Bank PLC. was incorporated in 1992 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
