I will enter at 50$. Market is way overvalued and although this is not it will fall with the market.
"You never know where is the bottom" -Buffet, Peter Lynch, Bill Ackman, pick who you want, all said the same
Good luck :) If This gets to 50 then that would mean that the market has crashed BIG time in which you would find a lot more cheaper stocks to invest in than CVS. Don’t get greedy. It is almost impossible to time the bottom.
well, the question should be how the ******we reached this point. Market will crash for sure, question is when. CVS is a boring stock to make safe and good money. And pays a 3,5% yield. Its a good stock, don't get greedy buying others you don't know that well, should be the statement.
I hope panic is finished, and we will start grow back.
I think there is no doubt if you invest today in CVS you wilñ double your money. Maybe more. What I cannot answer is when. Don’t see anything acting as catalyst to bring this back to its fair value. Its a boring stock among this 5G, EV hype
Stock is on the sidelines - goes the opposite way of the markets...really down 1.25% when everything rips????  I'm still long and holding but my god wall street has no respect for CVS.  Needs more buyers
RAD down 1.1% UHS down 1.3% HUM down 2% WBA flat. Trust me its the sector not the stock. Just give it some time.
Piper Sandler analyst Sarah E. James initiates coverage on CVS Health Corp  CVS with an Overweight rating and a $72 price target.
Piper Sandler initiated coverage on CVS Health Corp with an Overweight rating. The price target for CVS Health is set to $72.00. For the second quarter, CVS Health had an EPS of $2.64, compared to year-ago quarter EPS of $1.89. The stock has a 52-week-high of $77.03 and a 52-week-low of $52.04. At the end of the last trading period, CVS Health closed at $57.47.
I hate technical analysis but even I see a support in the 50$-53$ level.
Even if the s&p does tank cvs traded here at what 2800, 2950, 3390, 3590 and everywhere in between. The stock is trading at half its historical pe ratio as if the markets expects profits to be reduced by 50%. Corona no Corona this company is doing fine the stock price is what blows my mind. My thought is eventually the funds chasing this years gains will stop the selling pressure and back above 60 cvs will rise.
t
the problem is as you said institutions are going after stocks that are in fashion now lol eventualy they will get back to this in time. After todays conference call, looks like everything is OK and this has discounted way too much along with WBA and also some other healthcare stocks. Only a matter of time for retail pharma and healthcare to go back up. Once we get positive update from Moderna phase 3 these will pop.
why is CVS so down almost hitting the march low??  i bought and profit take last year and just wanting to come back, loll
Election is the only thing I can think of but if Trump wins business as usual and if Biden wins he hasn't done anything in 40 years so why would he start now business as usual. This is frustrating but a big opportunity to get a solid company at a discount.
Next week more down? Three black crows forming
Will wait next week to go down then i will go make a position on this :D
Last week I missed out on HII waiting for 135 entry. So I would say don’t get greedy. It is very hard to time the bottom.
making a small entry now then i will make new entry if it goes down to 50
what is going on with this company?? All is green except CVS!
cvs and walgreens
Cigna and Humana down
You didn't get the memo when the overpriced tech market sells off cvs tanks, when tech skyrockets cvs doesn't nothing. It gets none of the gains but all the loses as if they are going out of business but yet their eps is the highest its ever been.
I know CVS has a lot of debt, any other major issue that could be a catalyst for this thing o go down? I see a lot of value at this price, why the market seems not to agree?
Debt is under control. They recently bought back some debt up to 6b. Even with all the debt the book value stands at $52. This is a bargain. You will see in a month.
They also have a healthy free cash flow which can easily manage that debt and dividend.
CVS stock price is holding up a whole lot better than WBA in all charts. I am still guessing that one day CVS will replace WBA in DOW. If and when that happens CVS will get a huge boost.
loading up below $60
Me too I bought alot of shares today more than I should have but since I never thought I'd see a below $60 a share price again it was too juicy not too.
any reason why its go down?
Sector is down look at WBA 52 week low and look at RAD so CVS is doing better. Should go back up from here. Added more at 60.20s also
Added more @60.47
@60.31 😁
its very undervalued. 100 and more
Healthcare sector is lagging. Should cycle in time. Let’s see if CVS can get to 75 on the next earnings run.
Well, I have to say CVS is a pure Buffet play at the moment. Severly undervalued, great improved balance sheet, outstanding business model and even 3% yield dividend. If you want to double your money with no risk, fundamentals say BUY
DOW Jones needs to replace WBA with CVS now. How about Amazon buying CVS like it did with Whole Foods? Or another big tech like Google MSFT or Apple? I am sure they can do a buyout for 100 to 120b now since its cheap
 WBA is nasdaq. not Dow.
 also DOW

CVS is undervalued even with the current debt should be priced over 100, Very low P/E and price to book around only 1.30. This is a great buy with huge upside potential.
at least they have to increase dividends
which is better to buy and hold for years Walgreens or CVS
Also the longer COVID continues it helps CVS's Aetna but will dent the earnings of Aetna when COVID ends and elective procedures come back. But I still prefer CVS with COVID or without.
Correction CVS had 6 billion in cash previous quarter and 9 billion from last quarter and they have total 15 billion in cash.
okay thanks for the explanation guess I'll add cvs and come back to it in 33 and a half years just have to wait until monday :)
Great stock still undervalued
CVS IS A PROFITABLE WITH A LARGE CLIENT BASE, ONLY DRAWBACK THAT I SEE IS DEBT. I am hoping for better days when they pa off debt from purchase of Aetna and they get their retail clinics open.
yea concern their debt . but look at their revenue 260 b and valued cap at 83b lol.  google with 150 b revenue value more than 1 trillion...
CVS the only company can make 10% profit and they can paid 3% dividend. imagine Q2 report come out and just some companies have profit.  This is not the business getting better. It is because others are trash
I take back most of my harsh comment from before...despite the long string of minor annoyances (employees failed at least 5 times to take meds off auto-refill even though each time asked nicely in person, my address suddenly not qualifying for delivery despite 3 or 4 successful ones), despite those annoyances, the most important things they do very well - great low prices and super fast delivery. So overall I shouldn't complain and should feel grateful to have CVS.
I'm not an absolute jerk, there were a couple other things that prompted that harsh post - my address suddenly reverting to my previous one, service rep unable to help me find how to manage delivery options on the website - but in the final analysis, I've always been able to get meds on time, polite customer service reps I should add, low prices, and super fast home delivery...so I'm still a happy custimer in the end. They nail all the most important things...sorry for the posts CVS! (was having a bad day when I posted that yesterday and can't delete it, I try to never bash companies like that)
CVS pharmacy is the absolute worst, it's a CONSTANT HEADACHE being a customer!!!!! ... but we're stuck with them bc Walgreens doesn't work with our insurance so would be more expensive....ugh!
Killed it and the price goes down. I don’t get it!
Did you buy the dip?
It will go down to 57
