CS Medica AS (CSMED)

One of the positives of CS Medica is that the company is extremely good at communicating about itself. However as highlighted by Affärsvärden's in their 2022 analysis of the company, CS Medica appear to rely an awful lot on the support of so-called stock influencers to promote the company. In doing so, one might perhaps somehow think they are looking to capture investment from what could be described as ”naive or inexperienced and less-informed” small investors in a market that is already hyped up.Despite their obvious communication skills, it is somehow difficult to establish the true strength of, and substance behind this company (The Emperor’s new clothes?). To get a better understainding of their position one has to look beyond the face value of their slick marketing communiquets and to read between the lines.• They contunually postpond time and time again the publication of their Annual Accounts, only to finally file them five minutes before the dedline.• Much self-praise and publication of statements of great ambition and expectations regarding their corporate capabilities and annual turnover. However on the other hand there is little said about what is the expected profit (if at all).• Board members who resign from one day to the next.• They have a huge burn-rate – There is very little clarity regarding any short- and long-term financing and how they plan to solve their obvious liquidity problems• They continually re-publishand re-hash time and time again old messages and incorrect statements in their press releasesOne also has to question the validity of their recent negotiations with companies in Asia, which realistically didn’t make much sense given CS Medica’s downward stock curve trend. Therse were a non starter.The latest area of questioning is the raising of 3.5 Million DKr from the mother of the two Founding Sisters. One might say this is obviously a cheap loan and is keeping any further invetment within the family. However, others might be much more cyncal in their commentary, and say that the Financial Markets must have been unwilling to provide the company with any additional financial support or investment?Management inexperience could be perceived to be another key weakness. Their CEO Lone Henriksen, has little or no previous experience in running a stock market listed company. Previously she has only run loss-making Sole Proprietorships and small Aps Companies employing a maximum 1-3 employees, and these under the watchful eye of her Spanish based sister.There is an English saying ”whatever you do you cannot ever polish a turd”. In reading between the lines this may be an apt statement describing the long term future potential for CS Medica
