Biotech-IgG AB, formerly Chemel AB (publ), is a Sweden-based supplier of products for research, routine and process scale applications for the biotechnology, molecular biology and immunodiagnostics markets. Its product portfolio comprises SIRE, a biosensor device for analyzing small molecules, such as glucose, for antibody production, and BITAR equipment for the analyzing of antibodies. Additionally, the Company offers services within the purification of proteins. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned two subsidiaries, Biotech-IgG A/S, engaged in the marketing activities in the Nordic countries and the European Union, and Biotech-IgG Ltd, which discontinued its operations. As of December 31, 2011, the Company’s two largest shareholders were the European Institute of Science (4.8%) and Ajust Holding A/S (4.7%).
