Sohar International Bank SAOG provides commercial, investment, and Islamic banking services in the Sultanate of Oman. The company offers savings, current, minor, youth, term deposit, ready cash, business, and corporate accounts; fixed and structured deposits; call accounts; personal, education, housing, and auto loans; debit, prepaid, and credit cards; money transfer and non-resident banking products and services; and motor vehicle, travel, term life, personal accident, critical illness, domestic helper, education shield, and female cancer insurance products. It also offers working capital, and small and medium enterprises (SME) loans; term loans; contract, special, project, real estate, and trade financing; FX and interest advisory, SME advisory and financial support, treasury, and project advisory services; salary and cash management services; wealth management; and investment banking services comprising capital market, debt/equity raising, asset management, escrow account, custody and administration, and corporate advisory services. In addition, it provides treasury and foreign exchange, and ATM services. The company was formerly known as Bank Sohar SAOG and changed its name to Sohar International Bank S.A.O.G. in December 2018. The company was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman.
