Last summer Stelco used their profits to buy back shares thus share prices went up. Algoma Steel decided to use the money for profit sharing. Upper management got millions each, and every union worker got $56,000. Share holders got nothing except lower share prices.

Stay away from this company. I've lost every time. They always restructure and the stock holders always loose in the end.

As someone living in Sault Ste Marie, I've seen this company declare bankruptsy (or restructure as they call it) many times in the past, always leaving shareholders with $0.00.
