Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measures the annualized change in the inflation-adjusted value of all goods and services produced by the economy. It is the broadest measure of economic activity and the primary indicator of the economy's health.
Usual Effect: Actual > Forecast = Good for currency
Frequency: Released monthly. There are 3 versions of GDP released a month apart - Advance, second release and Final. Both the advance the second release are tagged as preliminary in the economic calendar.

this forecast was misleading... market moved in bearish direction after this news because they expected the GDP growth to be 5% rather than 4.1%

ATTENTION... to all my friends the opinon says: it seems that some people know where is the problem plaguing the US economy... and they have set a target,.* making US products and the dollar being too expensive, so falling exports and production... etc etc,.* the USA economy is in a free collapse .....*** the words are passed... and many times are air,.but the writings remain ....keep in mind... that you read about tomorrow,.!!!!..US debt is out of control !!!..http://www.usdebtclock.org/..*** Maybe the US wants to cancel the dollar with a new global currency ***

I think make it (US GDP forecast) should be reasonable. The forecast for USD GDP Q3 2016 doesnt make sense. Is too high (2,5%).
