Hi am getting a handle on the legacy COT, thanks for your help.  The noncommercial has been 89% lonh and 30% short of total open interest till the "breakout week" where the longs are untouched and the shorts went down to 15% (of total O/I).  It looks more and more like a fabricated breakout.  If we get a shift on their longs, going lower I mean, then the likelihood of an imminent down move has increased tremendously.  I can't wait to see their books.

it won't go that down as expected by breaker break until next fomc decision comes out.. 90% chances are 75 bps coming. if it happens DXY will cross 106 then

Muhammad AFZAL If you think you are smarter than the noncommercial boys, hats off to you.  If you has the time and know how to decipher the COT numbers, the noncommercials are NEVER WRONG based on their record.  If they made a mistake and happens to end up on the wrong side of the trade, history has shown that they correct that mistake promptly.  Result, they always end up on the right side of the trade.  If you only look at the DXY in piece meal fashion, say this effect or that and so on, chances are you will end up on the wrong side of the trade and don't even realize that until you lose your shirt.  I have a new shirt now and aim to keep it on without losing it again.  My take, watch the big boys and try not to be cocky.

Muhammad AFZAL Just another point, last year June was the peak of the metals and miners while the big boys already made moves two months prior.  They have far more resources than anyone of us here, so can't beat them, join them.

Magic .... Dollar Index maintaining that higher TF triangle very well till today and indicating bullish move - at least upto recent past HH i.e. 105.540 [DXY]   BUT  RSI divergence growing on weekly chart with parameter 7 and 14 both which indicates REVERSAL is nearer ( if not break the HH ) . ... Already 23.8% retraced and holding the level .  Moving below the Bullish Zone i.e. 61.8% - 100.721 only to be accepted as a REVERSAL  otherwise not.  GLTA
