🥩Beef consumption in Argentina falls to lowest level in two decades. Good news for US imports and #livecattle price bubble. Not investment advice. In January-March 2026, domestic beef consumption in Argentina amounted to 512.8 thousand tons, which is 10% less than in the same period last year. At the same time, meat exports reached 199.7 thousand tons in terms of bone-in weight, which is 17.1% higher than in 2025.

Trump policies have utterly failed to bring beef prices down. His cattle import deal with Argentina was was just optical fluff. The fact is that, in the US, out of control solar farm and residential development is going up ranching land. The AI data center build out, that Trump has supercharged is a big reason for these large solar panel projects. Hyperscalers and data center operators are buying green energy credits to offset the emissions that their AI data centers generate. Trump's Iran war and tariff policy are also adding to the problem by raising feed prices and other cost inputs for cattle.

On Jan 20, 2021, Joe Biden took the oath of office as President of the United State as Live Cattle settled $114.10. The lowest settlement during his reign of terror on the cattle industry was $113.03 on May 3, 2021. By Jan 20, 2025, cattle prices surged to settle $197.50. A little history as to how things got from $114 goes a long way. Those that ignore Biden's history, will only be doomed to repeat it. It will take great effort to rebuild what Biden destroyed and not just the US Cattle Industry.

It's going to take some time and great effort to repair Biden's botched ag policies. Rebuilding herds doesn't happen overnight if you know anything about a cow's gestation. Take your anti-Trump rhetoric to your fb page.

🐄Cattle slaughter in Brazil surge 13.1% in the fourth quarter! Brazil is the biggest producer and exporter, making this very important for cattle deficit in US.

US meat imports surge 8% in 2026. With imports from Argentina +121%, France +198%, Poland +40%, Nicaragua +40%, Netherlands +45%, UK +74%, Uruguay +38%. In latest week Argentina delivered 40% of total year to date deliveries. This comes as Trump push #cattle price reduction in same way as he healed US egg market. Not investment advice. 🐄Fresh beef up 7% 🐖Fresh pork down 4% 🐑Goat up 26% 🐐Lamb up 4% 🐔Poultry down 9%
