EUR/USD

Resistance

: 1,5530/ 1,5560-70/ 1,5610-15/ 1,5640
Support : 1,1,5440/ 1,5410/ 1,5360-70/ 1,5340/ 1,5300

Comment : The base of the formation that was tested last week, met buyers and yesterday we saw a retracement above the first resistance levels of the downtrend.
Our cautiousness, regarding the resumption of the decline as we reached the ranges of the consolidation, was justified. We should now see if the acceleration is an upward wave that will reach the upper part of the formation (1.5800-50) or it is another retracement.

First important resistance is found at 1.5570-90, at the 50% retracement of the decline (1,5843-1,5302) and bears are likely to make their appearance in terms of liquidation or with clear sell positions.
A move above 1.5600 will have as next target the area of 1.5700 or even 1.5800- as an upward move within the triangle will be formed– with interim resistance at 1.5640.
Support emerges at 1.5490-00 and 1.5440-50 , at the ranges of the short term uptrend, that was formed after 1.5300 lows. Next support is found at 1.5400 and 1.5350, heading to new lows...

Consequently, the technical outlook and the reversal signs from the lower part of the wider sideways consolidation, indicates that the move will be continued within its ranges for the mid-term.A break of 1.5580-00 will show that if the volatility remains high, the move may continue to 1.5800 area or even higher...

TRADING EUR/USD : The short-term trend has turned bullish. Buy opportunities will emerge at any retracement towards 1.5440-60 and 1.5410 area, with stops below 1.5380. Our target will be at 1.5600.
A move towards 1.5470-90 area, without any correction first, will allow us to try small sell positions with target at 1.5510-20 area.

GBP/USD

Resistance : 1,9680-00/ 1,9740-60/ 1,9800-10/ 1,9830-40
Support : 1,9640/ 1,9600/ 1,9580/ 1,9540-50/ 1,9510

Comment : Similar picture regarding the pound, as we saw a retracement from the lower part of the consolidation. First important targets and resistance are being tested (1,9670-00), levels where bears are likely to make their appearance. The move is not likely to breach 1.9730-50 resistance level without any retracement first.
The area of 1,9580-00 is the first important support, followed by the area of 1,9490-9510.

TRADING GBP/USD : We will follow the new uptrend as well, trying buy positions at the area of 1,9580-00 and 1,9540-50. Sell positions will emerge at 1,9740-60 (stops above 1,9785) and at the area of 1,9830-50 (stops above 1,9880).
