A 1.2 percent decline in the US steel plate price made it the biggest mover of the week on the weekly Renewables MMI®.
Korean steel plate traded sideways last week, and Japanese steel plate also remained unchanged.
Chinese prices were mixed for the week. Silicon prices ticked up 1.2 percent over the past week. Chinese cobalt cathodes remained essentially flat. The price of neodymium did not change since the previous week. Chinese steel plate prices held steady from the previous week as well.
The price of US grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) fell 7.1 percent this month.
