Exelixis Inc (NASDAQ:EXEL) is probably one of the strongest stocks out there. It’s up another 36 cents, or 2.2%, to 16.76, on 7.5 million shares traded, and has been up seven days in a row now. Usually after seven days there’s some kind of pullback. It’s a bit extended and got up to my target at 17. The next target is 19. Going from 10.04 to 17.00 is a really nice move.
The Geo Group Inc (NYSE:GEO), which is one of our swing trades, jumped 54 cents, or 2%, to 31.14, on 2 million shares traded. It popped to resistance on Monday and backed off. Still, it got up to 32.79. Targets are 35, and then 38 1/2.
The Direxion Daily S&P Biotech Bull 3X Shares (NYSE:LABU) has gone from 24, and change, just five or six sessions ago, and more than doubled. I would love to see it back and fill on some sort of consolidation for a week or two, and then blow. That would be great. It was up a whopping 3.90, or 8.6%, to 49.27, on 3.2 million shares traded. Let’s see what it can do going forward.
Lifelock Inc (NYSE:LOCK) gained 58 cents, or 3%, to 19.70, on 1.7 million shares traded on Monday. I put a swing on it when it popped the other day, and it followed through nicely as there seems to be some takeover talk. Monday evening both Symantec Corp (NASDAQ:SYMC)., one of the world’s largest cybersecurity firms, and Permira are among companies interested in bidding for LifeLock Inc.
