This morning, the S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES-H3) are trading higher by 4.25 points to 1560.25 per contract. All the problems around the world seem to have disappeared overnight. The European Union is going to solve its austerity problems in a two day meeting in Brussels that begins today. All of the European stock markets are trading higher on the news. Traders can now watch for early strength in the European financial stocks. Leading financial stocks such as Deutsche Bank AG (DB), UBS AG (UBS), and Banco Santander S.A. (SAN) are all trading higher before the opening bell.

Last night, all of the Asian stock indexes traded higher on the session. The big winners were the Nikkei 225 Index (Japan), and the Bombay Sensex Index (India). This tells us that the ADR's that trade in the United States could be strong today. Traders should also watch for strength in the iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund (EWJ), and the India Fund Inc (IFN).
