Akcea Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKCA) jumped 1.03, or 5%, to 23.60, on 139,924 shares traded on Thursday. I like the overall look of this stock. It had a 3-wave corrective pullback, then a spike-up, a breakaway pullback, and a 2-week flag. This needs to get over 25 to get rolling. If it gets through here, the targets are 29, and then 33. For now, I’ll be watching 25. That should trigger a bigger move, particularly if there is volume.
Minerva Neurosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:NERV) broke out, we gave you a swing on it, it has followed through nicely, and on Thursday, it got up to 9.00, and closed up 40 cents, or 5%, to 8.95, on 376,879 shares traded. It has more to go. I’m looking for a test of 9.00, and then 10 and 11. Beyond that, 13 1/2 will be the next target.
NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG) has been acting well ever since we gave it to you. It consolidated, popped, pulled back in a nice falling flag, and on Thursday it popped out, jumping 1.28, or 5%, to 34.43, on 7.1 million shares. It looks like it might be accelerating. If it is accelerating, I would be looking for something around 37-38. Beyond that, 42-43.
uniQure N.V. (NASDAQ:QURE) popped on Wednesday, pulled back, followed through on Thursday with an inside day, and was still up 1.99, or 6%, to 34.84, on 455,331 shares traded. I think it’s going to get through my 37-dollar target, and run into the 43-44 range.
