Maclear Launches Free Educational Course to Bridge the Web3 Knowledge Gap

According to a global survey by Consensys, while 93% of respondents are aware of cryptocurrencies, only 51% feel they truly understand how they work. This reveals a significant gap between interest and practical knowledge, particularly among traditional Web 2.0 investors eager to explore Web 3.0 opportunities. 

To address this, Maclear is launching a new educational course: “Modern Investment Instruments: Crowdlending, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrencies.”

Designed in response to common questions and feedback from Maclear’s large investor community, this video course delivers clear, practical education on blockchain, digital assets, and decentralized finance. It aims to help participants confidently navigate the digital economy and make informed investment decisions.

The online, 7-lesson program offers a straightforward introduction to the crypto space. Participants will learn:

• What blockchain is and how it works
• The different types of tokens and their functions
• How to set up and secure crypto wallets
• How smart contracts enable trusted automation

The course also includes a case study on 8lends, Maclear AG’s decentralized spin-off, providing a hands-on look at how a DeFi P2P lending platform operates in practice.
