U.S. agency says employers can mandate COVID-19 vaccination

(Reuters) - U.S. companies can mandate that employees in a workplace must be vaccinated against COVID-19, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) said on Friday.

The EEOC, in a statement posted on its website explaining its updated guidance, said employees can be required to be vaccinated as long as employers comply with the reasonable accommodation provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws.

In addition, employers may offer incentives to workers to be vaccinated, as long as they are not coercive, it said.

The vast majority of employers have been reluctant to require workers to be vaccinated. A survey by management-side law firm Fisher Phillips earlier this year found that only 9% of the more than 700 employers surveyed said they were considering mandating vaccines.

Misleading headline. As much as you tyrants in media want to give the impression that employers have the right to mandate experimental vaccines on employees, they do not. The EEOC does not set the laws of the land. NONE OF THE VACCINES ARE EVEN FDA APPROVED. There are MANY lawyers out there that now have practices entirely dedicated to defending individuals against businesses that fire or discriminate against employees based on vaccination status and other COVID matters. So best of luck to any employer who chooses to do so. If you want to get the experimental vaccine, get it. But to try to force others to get it because you are a brainwashed tyrant on a power trip is disgusting.

On top of it all, not a single one of the COVID vaccines is FDA approved. The mRNA vaccines are a completely new vaccine technology that has never before been administered to the population and have no long term safety data.
