Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Tourism and Holdings & Investments sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Logo Yazilim (IS:LOGO), which rose 4.81% or 2.600 points to trade at 56.600 at the close. Meanwhile, Galatasaray Sportif (IS:GSRAY) added 2.14% or 0.44 points to end at 21.00 and Odas Elektrik (IS:ODAS) was up 1.96% or 0.150 points to 7.810 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alarko Holding (IS:ALARK), which fell 4.70% or 0.180 points to trade at 3.650 at the close. Do-Co (IS:DOCO) declined 4.64% or 14.60 points to end at 300.30 and Yazicilar Holding (IS:YAZIC) was down 4.53% or 0.59 points to 12.43.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 227 to 114 and 68 ended unchanged.

Gold for August delivery was up 0.04% or 0.50 to $1217.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.09% or 0.54 to hit $49.87 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.54% or 0.27 to trade at $50.63 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.17% to 2.9493, while EUR/TRY fell 0.18% to 3.2856.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 95.78.
