(Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a news conference at 7 p.m. EDT (2300 GMT) on Friday from his golf property in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he is spending the weekend, the White House said.

"I will be doing a news conference on the ChinaVirus, the just announced very good economic numbers, and the improving economy," Trump said in a subsequent tweet. "Also, the subject of the Beirut, Lebanon catastrophe will be discussed," he said.

Talks on new coronavirus relief legislation between the White House and Democratic lawmakers broke down on Friday and Trump has threatened to sign executive orders on aid if no deal was reached. [nL1N2F913N]

Trump is playing his hand well. Even the Washington Post which is very anti-Trump printed a straight forward article that highlights the fact that the Democrats want a gazillion dollars to bail out the democratic governors who are short on tax revenues because they decided to keep everything shut down. They wanted to elevate the unemployment rate by keeping businesses unnecessarily closed to keep him out of office. Look how it back f i r e d on them. Demorats. They wanted to have their cake and eat it too. Sorry Pelosi, it aint gonna happen.

You are right, amazing performance. Stimulus until the end of the year. Medicare for all with pre existing conditions along with cut med prices. You saw the "booing" from the audience against that guy who was throwing fake news at Trump. Biden is MIA since Trump is at it so hard that they can't properly organize a campaign against him. Trump is basically a full out dynamic campaign military style. They can't predict what he'll do. He turned riots against the dems and that was the major turning point. Dem govs have deaths on their hands, loads of them. Specially in NY. game over for the dems. has been a while ago.

Biden will drop out of the race. It's like having a ghost running for president. Would be completely annihilated if he'd ever faced Trump in a debate. Dem strength is at it's weakest, too much death in dem run cities. Stimulus till the end of the year just been announced, and a major victory for healthcare with people with preexisting conditions now allowed to have healthcare, along with major cuts in drug prices. People commenting pro Biden in here are either desperate or just being paid to do it.

Well, if you are going to comment please address issues specifically and with analytic and critical thinking, rather than makings vague generalist statements that rather resemble cult like thinking or too much exposure to MSM indoctrination, which targets gullible individuals lacking independent thinking and research abilities. Here comes another campaign rally disguised as a new conference, glad the networks won't broadcast it only his beloved FOX will. If they by chance would I'll watch a old episode of Gilligan's Island it will have about the same political benefit.
