Trip.com ADR announced earnings per share of 2.32 on revenue of 5.46B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of 1.02 on revenue of 5.2B.
Trip.com ADR shares are up 2% from the beginning of the year, still down 11.66% from its 52 week high of 38.95 set on January 17. They are under-performing the Nasdaq which is up 37.7% from the start of the year.
Trip.com ADR's report follows an earnings beat by Alibaba ADR on November 5, who reported EPS of 18 on revenue of 155.06B, compared to forecasts EPS of 13.82 on revenue of 154.87B.
Walmart had beat expectations on November 17 with third quarter EPS of 1.34 on revenue of 134.7B, compared to forecast for EPS of 1.18 on revenue of 132.12B.
