Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.23% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.84% or 2.00 points to trade at 110.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.60% or 0.90 points to end at 149.90 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was down 0.06% or 0.2 points to 351.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs), which fell 2.98% or 6.0 points to trade at 195.2 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 2.97% or 1.65 points to end at 53.90 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was down 2.25% or 1.95 points to 84.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 362 to 73 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.41% or 0.17 to $41.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.29% or 0.14 to hit $47.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.97% or 22.20 to trade at $1150.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.49% to 9.5267, while USD/SEK fell 0.26% to 8.5019.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.50% at 95.94.
