Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.99% or 1.08 points to trade at 37.18 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 1.33% or 3.8 points to end at 289.6 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.20% or 2.30 points to 194.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa), which fell 2.93% or 8.5 points to trade at 281.7 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 2.62% or 3.20 points to end at 119.00 and Getinge AB ser. B (BS:GETIBs) was down 2.55% or 3.7 points to 141.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 306 to 280 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.86% or 1.00 to $52.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.10% or 1.18 to hit $55.06 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.27% or 3.25 to trade at $1186.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 9.4627, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.8529.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 100.62.
