Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.04% or 1.75 points to trade at 87.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.08% or 2.10 points to end at 196.20 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.95% or 0.27 points to 28.63 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 2.81% or 4.70 points to trade at 162.50 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 2.19% or 5.3 points to end at 236.2 and Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) was down 1.83% or 2.3 points to 123.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 410 to 210 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.20% or 1.56 to $47.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.47% or 1.76 to hit $48.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1275.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 9.8994, while USD/SEK rose 0.09% to 9.0189.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.36.
