Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 2.00% or 3.60 points to trade at 183.20 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.88% or 0.40 points to end at 21.68 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.37% or 3.6 points to 267.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 2.37% or 2.70 points to trade at 111.30 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) declined 1.94% or 1.45 points to end at 73.20 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was down 1.92% or 5.0 points to 256.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 283 to 279 and 58 ended unchanged.
Shares in Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.37% or 3.6 to 267.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.09% or 0.54 to $49.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.54% or 0.27 to hit $50.63 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.55 to trade at $1217.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.01% to 9.2835, while USD/SEK rose 0.01% to 8.3351.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 95.78.
