Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 1.11% or 2.6 points to trade at 236.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) added 0.50% or 1.4 points to end at 283.1 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.09% or 0.2 points to 232.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 3.42% or 1.27 points to trade at 35.91 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 2.42% or 4.70 points to end at 189.90 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 2.40% or 1.35 points to 54.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 401 to 217 and 49 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.81% or 0.43 to $52.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.45% or 0.25 to hit $55.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.40 to trade at $1197.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.32% to 9.4412, while USD/SEK fell 0.17% to 8.8374.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 100.49.
