Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 0.80% or 1.4 points to trade at 176.8 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.65% or 1.6 points to end at 246.5 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.57% or 1.4 points to 245.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.12% or 2.50 points to trade at 46.33 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.47% or 14.0 points to end at 936.0 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was down 1.45% or 2.60 points to 176.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 421 to 261 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.57% or 1.4 to 245.7.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.23% or 1.08 to $47.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.75% or 0.90 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1203.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.10% to 9.5166, while USD/SEK rose 0.07% to 8.9493.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.41.
