Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.89% or 3.05 points to trade at 65.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 1.87% or 3.60 points to end at 195.80 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 1.49% or 2.10 points to 142.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 3.15% or 1.77 points to trade at 54.48 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.24% or 0.45 points to end at 35.98 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 1.23% or 3.2 points to 256.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 315 to 229 and 59 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) rose to all time highs; rising 1.87% or 3.60 to 195.80.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.49% or 0.27 to hit $55.19 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.87% or 9.95 to trade at $1132.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.38% to 9.7257, while USD/SEK fell 0.29% to 9.3551.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 103.23.
