Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.90% or 16.5 points to trade at 886.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) added 1.46% or 1.50 points to end at 104.00 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 1.21% or 1.10 points to 92.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which fell 5.44% or 8.10 points to trade at 140.80 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 3.65% or 1.25 points to end at 33.00 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 3.05% or 1.16 points to 36.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 415 to 292 and 69 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.65% or 1.25 to 33.00. Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.21% or 1.10 to 92.05.
Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $47.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.26% or 0.13 to hit $50.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.84 to trade at $1250.16 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.07% to 9.6285, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.8163.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.91.
