Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 3.36% or 0.83 points to trade at 25.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 2.08% or 1.23 points to end at 60.47 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was up 1.25% or 1.6 points to 125.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 4.05% or 8.7 points to trade at 205.9 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 2.58% or 2.08 points to end at 78.48 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 2.01% or 2.8 points to 136.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 376 to 258 and 57 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.13% or 0.07 to $55.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.28% or 0.17 to hit $60.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.85 to trade at $1509.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.55% to 10.7241, while USD/SEK rose 0.51% to 9.6719.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 98.045.
