Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.50% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.58% or 4.20 points to trade at 270.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.56% or 3.0 points to end at 539.0 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 0.34% or 0.6 points to 178.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.47% or 6.0 points to trade at 237.0 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.47% or 0.85 points to end at 33.55 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 1.35% or 1.35 points to 98.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 511 to 170 and 64 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.47% or 0.85 to 33.55.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.85% or 0.41 to $47.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.00% or 0.51 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1249.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 9.5135, while USD/SEK rose 0.02% to 8.8013.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 99.43.
