Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 2.15% or 3.6 points to trade at 171.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 2.06% or 5.7 points to end at 282.9 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 1.81% or 2.40 points to 134.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 0.95% or 2.6 points to trade at 271.0 at the close. Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) declined 0.19% or 0.7 points to end at 359.1 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 0.13% or 0.3 points to 231.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 374 to 307 and 70 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.35% or 0.19 to $53.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.50% or 0.28 to hit $56.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1239.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 9.4830, while USD/SEK rose 0.26% to 8.9304.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.85.
