Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.35% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 5.49% or 11.80 points to trade at 226.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.58% or 1.28 points to end at 50.80 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 2.09% or 9.9 points to 484.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 1.68% or 4.40 points to trade at 256.80 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.13% or 10.5 points to end at 920.5 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was down 0.91% or 0.47 points to 51.23.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 353 to 255 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) rose to all time highs; up 5.49% or 11.80 to 226.60.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.47% or 0.25 to $53.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.51% or 0.29 to hit $56.85 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.85 to trade at $1222.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.52% to 9.4633, while USD/SEK rose 0.20% to 8.7683.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 99.58.
