Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.40% or 2.40 points to trade at 102.30 at the close. Meanwhile, SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) added 1.97% or 2.8 points to end at 144.8 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 1.62% or 3.20 points to 200.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which fell 2.17% or 5.7 points to trade at 256.5 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) declined 1.05% or 3.3 points to end at 311.9 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 0.30% or 0.25 points to 83.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 362 to 227 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.62% or 3.20 to 200.70.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.19% or 0.53 to $45.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.53% or 0.71 to hit $47.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.45% or 6.05 to trade at $1324.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.23% to 9.6218, while USD/SEK fell 0.06% to 8.5922.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 95.56.
