Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.83% or 1.33 points to trade at 48.40 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 2.41% or 0.88 points to end at 37.40 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.46% or 2.60 points to 181.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 1.15% or 2.7 points to trade at 231.3 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.71% or 0.9 points to end at 126.2 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 0.54% or 5.0 points to 927.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 382 to 300 and 69 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 3-years lows; falling 1.15% or 2.7 to 231.3.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.27% or 0.13 to $48.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $51.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.31% or 27.75 to trade at $1228.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 9.4814, while USD/SEK fell 0.38% to 8.8323.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 100.20.
