Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.25% or 2.75 points to trade at 87.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) added 2.06% or 3.0 points to end at 148.7 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was up 1.87% or 4.7 points to 255.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 1.18% or 1.90 points to trade at 158.90 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 0.99% or 0.39 points to end at 39.03 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 0.83% or 0.60 points to 71.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 314 to 282 and 74 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) fell to 3-years lows; falling 0.99% or 0.39 to 39.03.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.76% or 0.80 to $44.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.47% or 0.69 to hit $46.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.57% or 7.45 to trade at $1300.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.52% to 9.9527, while USD/SEK rose 0.49% to 8.9664.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 97.23.
