Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 1.85% or 8.0 points to trade at 441.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 1.75% or 2.65 points to end at 154.40 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.64% or 2.5 points to 158.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 1.27% or 1.8 points to trade at 138.0 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) declined 1.07% or 1.9 points to end at 180.9 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 0.58% or 0.21 points to 36.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 328 to 303 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.45% or 1.40 to $55.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.26% or 1.50 to hit $64.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.28% or 16.85 to trade at $1299.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.37% to 10.5383, while USD/SEK rose 0.41% to 9.2722.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 96.380.
