Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which rose 1.31% or 6.8 points to trade at 527.8 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.13% or 7.9 points to end at 710.0 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 0.93% or 0.73 points to 79.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which fell 1.34% or 2.4 points to trade at 173.0 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.32% or 1.4 points to end at 101.0 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was down 1.00% or 0.41 points to 40.41.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 362 to 270 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.82% or 1.33 to $74.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.90% or 1.57 to hit $84.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.50 to trade at $1192.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.33% to 10.3507, while USD/SEK rose 0.63% to 8.9466.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.97.
