Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 declined 0.99%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Amadeus IT (MC:AMA), which rose 1.50% or 0.615 points to trade at 41.570 at the close. Meanwhile, B. Sabadell (MC:SABE) added 0.92% or 0.011 points to end at 1.210 and Gas Natural (MC:GAS) was up 0.38% or 0.065 points to 17.200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indra A (MC:IDR), which fell 3.59% or 0.395 points to trade at 10.605 at the close. International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A. (MC:ICAG) declined 2.98% or 0.150 points to end at 4.886 and Acciona (MC:ANA) was down 2.45% or 1.690 points to 67.320.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 163 to 43 and 13 ended unchanged.
Gold for December delivery was up 0.04% or 0.55 to $1303.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.68% or 0.75 to hit $43.91 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 1.94% or 0.90 to trade at $45.45 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.1118, while EUR/GBP fell 0.28% to 0.8885.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.08.
