Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate, Consumer Goods and Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Amadeus IT (MC:AMA), which rose 2.40% or 1.410 points to trade at 60.200 at the close. Meanwhile, Tecnicas Reunidas (MC:TRE) added 1.41% or 0.390 points to end at 28.140 and Cellnex Telecom SA (MC:CLNX) was up 0.83% or 0.17 points to 21.36 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Santander (MC:SAN), which fell 1.23% or 0.070 points to trade at 5.641 at the close. Grifols SA (MC:GRLS) declined 1.22% or 0.325 points to end at 26.400 and Indra A (MC:IDR) was down 1.16% or 0.140 points to 11.905.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 100 to 83 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amadeus IT (MC:AMA) rose to all time highs; up 2.40% or 1.410 to 60.200.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.06% or 13.44 to $1282.64 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.61% or 1.45 to hit $57.09 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 2.92% or 1.81 to trade at $63.88 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.01% to 1.1606, while EUR/GBP fell 0.57% to 0.8826.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.70.
