Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 6.36% or 0.55 points to trade at 9.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) added 2.41% or 2.25 points to end at 95.75 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 2.35% or 0.10 points to 4.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040), which fell 50.96% or 13.25 points to trade at 12.75 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 5.00% or 0.50 points to end at 9.50 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was down 4.90% or 2.50 points to 48.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 140 to 20 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) fell to 5-year lows; losing 50.96% or 13.25 to 12.75.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.56% or 0.25 to $44.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $45.78 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1298.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.3360, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 92.42.
