Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.99%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which rose 3.17% or 1.40 points to trade at 45.60 at the close. Meanwhile, AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) added 2.61% or 0.55 points to end at 21.60 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) was up 2.16% or 1.25 points to 59.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 5.60% or 0.75 points to trade at 12.65 at the close. The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030) declined 4.78% or 0.62 points to end at 12.35 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was down 4.51% or 0.95 points to 20.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 146 to 18 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.49% or 0.26 to $52.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.60% or 0.33 to hit $55.03 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.40 to trade at $1286.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.45% to 4.0095, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 99.78.
