Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 4.68% or 1.90 points to trade at 42.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 4.20% or 1.50 points to end at 37.20 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) was up 3.49% or 0.84 points to 24.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130), which fell 5.42% or 2.05 points to trade at 35.75 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 4.23% or 1.45 points to end at 32.85 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was down 3.43% or 0.86 points to 24.24.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 59 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.57% or 0.71 to $45.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.44% or 0.69 to hit $48.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 4.52 to trade at $1226.22 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.30% to 4.2702, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 95.75.
